🛑 “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”

What is self denial? A spiritual discipline that involves giving up your own desires and plans to follow Jesus and allow him to be the center of your life.Death to self plans, self goals, self desires, even self achievements , without death to self we are feeding the giants inside of us that crave for recognition and self gratification.

🛑There is no life from Christ if we are not dying first . the same happens with any seed in order to give life , it must be buried first in order to break forth what’s inside. When we receive Faith we receive it as a seed so in order for the seed to grow it must find the right environment. Many make this mistake by thinking that if Jesus died for us that will be enough to gain justification by faith alone within any works and that’s not what the Scripture teaches us . Faith without works is dead" appearing in James 2:14-26

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

At Salvation The Holy Spirit comes inside of you to lead you to death to self never to Life of self , is leading you to The law of Christ so you can die in order to Live with Christ , the law will kill us in order that HE ( Christ) might live , many don’t understand the process and they end up with a sound doctrine and lots of uncovered sins .

Notice the Scripture says, "IF WE DIE" with Christ we live with Him , so is a condition that we don’t like to talk about because we think we rob Jesus from His Glory and that’s not the truth. 2 Timothy 2:11: "If we die with him, we will also live with him ,

The problem with the modern Church today is that many want to receive the life of Jesus without entering first in His death, which implies His sufferings , we want to know the joyful Lord without taping into the baptism of his sufferings, so we end up with a church that is not cleanse from sin as Scripture declares ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.”

The kingdom of God is an upside down Kingdom meaning we are not subculture or over culture but contra culture, The Kingdom of God doesn’t accommodate or wanted to improve our present Culture but to replace it in anything that contradicts The word of God So when our present culture always preserves us from pain God won’t and unfortunately many believers today don’t see it . He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” is a verse from the Bible, Romans 8:32 God won't withhold anything else he has to give because he didn't hesitate to sacrifice his own Son for us.
